Future work
Sauli and one of our new guys, Jukka, were working in full force on-site at a client’s place recently. Jukka got busy during his first work week as they spent a three-and-a-half-day sprint workshop designing future interfaces and visual communication guidelines for our client’s product portfolio. Client’s designers were involved in the workshopping, too. This will integrate deeply with people’s personal content both online and offline in the coming years and we hope to be a part of the future development of this.
Real Estate
Our project related to the real estate market business is progressing as planned. Phase I of the project is over and we are now working hard with Phase II objectives. The client has also successfully made a deal with a another large company in the business that will start to use this service later this year. We are really happy about this because we really like the client on this one!
High Traffic
There’s also a new international project crossing architecture and interaction design into a new kind of exciting experience in a, let’s say, “high traffic area”. The area is familiar to us from previous engagements, but the scale and client type is very much different. Very interesting.
Visitor
Interaction designer Mayo Nissen is visiting us in Helsinki and helping out with some of the the urban screens stuff with Urbanscale.
Touchscreen work
Remember those iPad project’s I mentioned the last time? One of them is now transforming into an “installation” of dozens of iPads. Hopefully this one works out as this would again be a new kind of venture and client for us. And now there’s even a fourth iPad project that might start soon.
The first Windows Phone 7 project has also moved from initial wireframes to graphics production. Now the work continues by bouncing ideas back and forward between wires and graphics.
6-1
Nordkapp congratulates Finland for winning the ice hockey world championship against arch enemy neighboring Sweden. The game and parties were great. Thanks team Finland.
Until next time.
